The site of a nearly 7,400-square-foot steel fabrication facility in Linden has changed hands for $1.2 million, under a transaction arranged by Kenneth J. Jones Inc.
The brokerage firm said the property, located at 200 Marion Ave., is home to an owner-occupied facility just over a mile from Route 1 and 9 and four miles from the New Jersey Turnpike. According to a news release, Mensi Properties LLC sold the 7,350-square-foot light industrial building to 200 Marion Realty LLC.
“As evidence of the high demand for light-industrial buildings in the central New Jersey market, this property, which has been used as a steel fabrication facility by Metals Plus Inc. since 1987, was sold very quickly at its full asking price,” Kenneth J. Jones, president of Kenneth J. Jones Inc., wrote in an announcement of the deal.
