Levin Management Corp. has bolstered its regional leasing team with the addition of a longtime brokerage professional.

The North Plainfield-based firm announced Monday that it has hired Fred Younkin as a leasing representative. He brings 20 years of industry experience, with an extensive background in representing tenants and a range of institutional, regional and local business owners.
In his new role with LMC, Younkin is responsible for leasing and marketing efforts at nearly a dozen retail properties in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
“Levin’s outstanding reputation and industry success is simply unmatched,” Younkin said in a prepared statement. “This firm’s diverse property portfolio and the opportunity to work alongside a highly accomplished leasing team made joining Levin an easy choice. I am excited to advance my career at this dynamic organization.”
Younkin, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, previously was a tenant representative at Arrow Real Estate Services, having also held leasing positions at Brixmor Property Group and CBRE/Fameco. LMC said the hire comes at a time of increasing transactional activity and portfolio growth, as the firm now represents 110 properties totaling nearly 15.5 million square feet in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region.
The Cinnaminson resident is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He’s also the latest in a series of new hires and promotions in recent months, LMC said, following several leasing and management assignments and a healthy level of new lease commitments and renewals year to date.
“While the global pandemic has certainly presented unexpected challenges, we remain focused on growth initiatives that support our current momentum,” said LMC’s Sidney Singer, vice president of leasing. “We are pleased to welcome Fred to Levin Management. His proven track record and diverse experience on behalf of both tenants and landlords strengthens our team and makes him a tremendous asset to our clients and their properties we serve.”
