A shopping center near downtown Chatham is now fully leased after a commitment by a growing New Jersey bank, brokers with Levin Management Corp. announced.
In a news release, LMC said Blue Foundry Bank has taken 2,100 square feet at Chatham Plaza on the 400 block of Main Street. The lender joins several regional and local tenants at the 31,500-square-foot property, along with a 14,200-square-foot CVS that anchors the center.
LMC Senior Leasing Representative Vanessa Fernandez-Kelty and Leasing Representative Kendal Hand-Freda arranged the lease.
“As a New Jersey-based financial institution, Blue Foundry Bank is deeply invested in the communities it serves, making it a welcome addition for both this property and the borough,” Fernandez-Kelty said. “Chatham Plaza has earned its position as a key local shopping destination, as evidenced by the quality of its tenants and, now, its full occupancy.”
Other tenants at Chatham Plaza include C2 Education tutoring center and JAG Physical Therapy, along with neighborhood conveniences such as Noah’s Bagels, Villa Pizza, Green Nails salon and a dry cleaner.
“Blue Foundry Bank has always been rooted in the Northern New Jersey community, so we are delighted to be opening our newest branch in Chatham,” said James D. Nesci, CEO and president of Blue Foundry Bank. “Like the hard-working individuals and businesses in Chatham, we value serving the needs of our customers and giving back to the community, and therefore look forward to becoming part of the fabric of this great town.”
