Levin Management Corp. has completed four lease renewals with Dollar Tree, accounting for more than 40,000 square feet of activity in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
In the largest among them, the discount retailer renewed for 14,500 square feet at Brunswick Shopping Center in North Brunswick, which LMC manages. The real estate services firm also handles leasing and management at Blue Star Shopping Center in Watchung, where Dollar Tree committed to staying in 10,300 square feet.
“Dollar Tree is a strong national tenant and a significant traffic driver for any shopping center,” said Sydney Singer, vice president of leasing for North Plainfield-based LMC. “We are pleased the chain has renewed its commitment at these four properties and look forward to continuing our relationship for years to come.”
The retailer also renewed for 9,400 square feet at Rutgers Plaza in Franklin Township and 9,000 square feet at Mid-Town Plaza in Middletown, Pennsylvania, LMC said, touting its relationships with prominent national retail brands and the sustained appeal of the properties it represents.
“These transactions also serve as a positive indicator that the retail industry, and activity within our own portfolio, is moving forward despite a challenging environment,” Singer said.
LMC announced the deals while highlighting recent activity with other national brands, including Burlington Stores, Planet Fitness, Lidl, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and Five Guys.
“LMC’s landlord clients value our relationships with today’s most sought-after tenants,” Singer said. “They recognize the inherent benefit as they work to fill vacancies with established brands that drive shopper traffic and bolster property image.”
