Levin Management Corp. has added to its leasing and management portfolio in New Jersey, taking over a 67,500-square-foot retail property in the Franklin Park section of Franklin.
The owner of the Somerset Plaza Shopping Center, an existing client, has hired LMC as the complex’s managing agent, the real estate services firm announced this week. The center, which is located at 3151 Route 27, is home to tenants such as Dollar General and PNC Bank, along with neighborhood conveniences such as restaurants and service providers.
“Retenanting efforts currently are underway for a former supermarket space at the property, which will further bolster its appeal and competitive positioning in the marketplace,” LMC President Robert Carson said. “Our efforts here initially will focus on maintaining and enhancing the center’s curb appeal.”
In a news release, LMC said the assignment represents the expansion of an existing relationship.
“This ownership — for whom LMC currently manages two other properties — is familiar with our capabilities in delivering high-quality commercial real estate services and wanted to bring that same level of consistency to Somerset Plaza,” Carson added. “This assignment is particularly rewarding because it demonstrates how our ability to continually provide a high level of customer service fosters long-term business partnerships.”
