March Construction has promoted Thomas A. Cavallero to chief operating officer, while elevating Dawn St. Denis to assistant controller and Thomas Easse to senior project manager.
Cavallero, who joined the Wayne-based firm in 2012, assumes his new post after serving as vice president of estimating and purchasing. He does so with more than two decades of construction experience, having started his career in an architectural firm and later working for a major carpentry contractor.
As COO, Cavallero oversees all preconstruction, estimating and purchasing activities, according to a news release. His extensive background includes sales, marketing, bidding, contract negotiations and project management for commercial projects across the East Coast.
St. Denis, meantime, has 26 years of dedicated service and is responsible for project billing, accounts receivable and payroll. Previously a project accountant, she will now collaborate with the company controller and manage financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring smooth operations and financial accuracy.
She holds a bachelor’s in accounting from William Paterson University.
Easse, previously a project manager with March, has more than 36 years of commercial construction management experience, the news release said. The firm said he has managed multimillion-dollar projects across diverse sectors including public schools, health care, retail and historical renovations, with recent work including Hamilton Street in Bound Brook as well as 3 Westchester Park Drive and Carraway Luxury Apartments, both in Harrison, New York.
