Marcus & Millichap’s northern New Jersey office is trending upward, touting a year in which its total number of transactions grew by 44 percent.
The brokerage said Thursday that its Saddle Brook-based team is one of the fastest-growing Marcus & Millichap offices in the country, having completed 161 total transactions in 2017. Completed deals totaled $379 million in value, an increase of 25 percent from the prior year.
“I am very proud of the entire office on its accomplishments this past year,” said Brian Hosey, vice president and regional manager of Marcus & Millichap’s northern New Jersey office. “Our platform is perfectly set up to tap into the out-of-area capital looking to invest in northern New Jersey.”
He added that more than 30 percent of his team’s buyers came from outside New Jersey, touting a buyer pool that can draw from Marcus & Millichap’s eight offices in the Northeast.
In a news release, the firm also said seven agents in the Saddle Brook office were recognized by Marcus & Millichap with internal awards. Daniel Aviles, Karly Iacono and Fahri Ozturk won sales recognition awards, while agents David Thurston, Michael Lombardi, Ben Sgambati and Alan Cafiero won national achievement awards based on earnings.
Cafiero also celebrated his 10th year at Marcus & Millichap, the firm said.
