Executives from some of the state’s top commercial real estate firms joined dozens of students recently at an annual industry career night hosted by Monmouth University.
The university’s Kislak Real Estate Institute hosted the March 28 event in West Long Branch, drawing representatives from a cross-section of the real estate industry. The participating companies included Transwestern, Investors Bank, Provident Bank, DLC Management, Edgewood Properties, Redfin Realty, Progress Capital, Pierson Commercial Real Estate and Four Springs Capital Trust.

Executives at the annual Real Estate Career Night discussed their companies and the career opportunities available, according to Peter S. Reinhart, the institute’s director. They included several recent Monmouth University alumni, who shared insights about the value of the real estate education at the school and the opportunities they had as new graduates.
The presentations were followed by a networking reception that allowed for additional one-on-one discussions. Reinhart, who thanked the companies participating this year, noted that the annual event has led to the direct employment for students who made their initial connection with the presenting companies at the career night.
Monmouth also held a university-wide career day the following week with more than 150 companies.
