The Morris County Chamber of Commerce has renewed its nearly 4,500-square-foot lease at a Florham Park office building, under a newly announced transaction by CBRE.
The real estate services firm represented the business association in the new commitment at 325 Columbia Turnpike, a three-story property just east of Route 24. The chamber will continue to occupy 4,420 square feet as part of the 10-year renewal with Mack-Cali Realty Corp.
“We were once again appointed by MCCC as their exclusive representative and immediately began an extensive tour of the market and conducted a targeted analysis,” said Thomas Mallaney, a first vice president with CBRE and member of the chamber. “After reviewing several options, the association decided to renew at its current location.”
In a news release, CBRE touted the property’s location in the heart of Morris County’s Fortune 500 corridor. The property is also steps from the Morristown Airport and provides easy access to area highways and downtown Morristown.
“The MCCC was pleased to work with Tom and were highly satisfied with his advising on potential lease options in this market,” said Meghan Hunscher, the chamber’s CEO and president. “Tom provided us with an array of options at various price points in different locations as we considered our move. His expertise was apparent as he provided an overview of both the market and the process.
“We were highly satisfied with his negotiating on the Chamber’s behalf with the landlord when we did decide to retain the current space that resulted in the best financial outcome for the organization. We look forward to calling 325 Columbia Turnpike our corporate ‘home’ for years to come.”
