A metals processor and distributor has taken more than 12,000 square feet of industrial flex space in Sussex County, in a newly announced deal by NAI James E. Hanson.
According to a news release, Admiral Metals will relocate a team currently based in Staten Island to the new location at 6 Aaron Way in Sparta. The 12,290-square-foot space, part of a new 27,000-square-foot facility built by Berardi Building Co., will be among nine regional offices.
“The northern New Jersey market is continuing to emerge as a viable alternative to New York City’s ever-increasing rents,” said John Schilp, a senior vice president with NAI Hanson. “I am pleased to help Admiral Metals find a new location that better supports the needs of their business while further driving occupancy at this exceptional property.”
Schilp represented ownership in the deal at White Lake Commerce Park, touting its easy access to routes 15 and 206 as well as Interstate 80. The space includes four 14-foot drive-in doors, a 24-foot clear ceiling height, column-free spacing, ample storage space and convenient on-site parking.
Founded in 1950, Admiral Metals is a leading metals processor and distributor offering aluminum, beryllium copper, brass, bronze, copper and stainless steel as well as precision cutting, grinding and extrusion services, the news release said. It’s among the newest tenants at White Lake Commerce Park, where Schilp has overseen leasing and sales since Berardi Building Co. began construction in 2019.
