A Brooklyn-based beverage maker has expanded into North Jersey with its purchase of a nearly 46,000-square-foot industrial building in Clifton, according to NAI James E. Hanson.
The real estate services firm announced Tuesday that it represented the seller, Challenge Partners LLC, in the transaction at 9 Bridewell Place. A business listed as 3 V Company Inc. purchased the 45,670-square-foot building for an undisclosed price, as part of a plan to bolster its administrative and manufacturing capacity.
Ken Lundberg, Darren Lizzack, Randy Horning, Pat Lennon and Lorenzo Lambiase led the NAI Hanson brokerage team.
“Although large institutional acquisitions continue to define the industrial marketplace, end-users like 3 V Company are also continuing to aggressively pursue acquisition opportunities to ensure they can secure long-term homes in this important market,” Lundberg said. “Our industrial team takes great pride in our ability to strategically target both types of buyers and help our clients attract fair market value for rare assets like 9 Bridewell Place.”
Founded in Brooklyn in 1941, 3 V Company produces and distributes nutritionally balanced fruit-based beverages, according to a news release. The firm will continue to call Brooklyn home as it expands to the Clifton building, which has 11,102 square feet of office space, up to 23-foot ceiling heights and three tailgates.
The property also recently underwent a substantial renovation to replace the roof, mechanical systems and floors with the goal of bringing it up to modern industrial standards, the news release said. Located just off Route 3, the building provides easy access to the New Jersey Turnpike, the Garden State Parkway and routes 17 and 21.
