A nursing staff company has leased 2,200 square feet of retail space in Bergenfield, in a transaction brokered by NAI James E. Hanson.
The real estate services firm said it represented both the landlord, 96 S. Washington Ave. LLC, and Apex Healthcare Professionals in the deal at 96 South Washington Ave. The tenant’s new home is a one-story corner retail space with easy access to Interstate 80, along with routes 4 and 17 and the Palisades Interstate Parkway.
NAI Hanson Vice President Anthony Cassano brokered the transaction.
Apex is a nursing staffing company based in Las Vegas that partners with health care facilities to provide experienced, fully equipped and highly qualified health care professionals in areas such as nursing, physical therapy and occupational therapy. The firm was seeking a visible location with easy access to local health care institutions.
It found exactly that in 96 South Washington, Cassano said, pointing to its corner location and proximity to Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Hackensack University Medical Center and Holy Name Medical Center, along with dozens of urgent care and physician offices.
“We have seen that demand for well-located and accessible retail spaces in New Jersey continues to remain high,” Cassano said. “The large volume of health care facilities in Bergen County and a highly accessible location made it an attractive destination for a health care operator.”
