A surgery practice is moving within Bergen County after acquiring a medical office condo in River Edge, brokers with NAI James E. Hanson said Thursday.
The buyer, Dr. Dan S. Landmann, purchased the 3,112-square-foot space at 63 Grand Ave. for an undisclosed price. The condo is part of a three-story, 10,000-square-foot office building off Route 4 and about a block from NJ Transit’s New Bridge Landing station.
NAI Hanson’s Darren Lizzack, Randy Horning and Michael Guerra represented the buyer, according to a news release. Joe Tormen of Lee & Associates represented the seller, 63 Grand Ave LLC.
The NAI Hanson team said Landmann was searching for an opportunity to purchase a space as a long-term home for his surgery practice, which is currently based in Maywood.
“Sustained demand from tenants and buyers and a lag in development has created an unbalanced medical office supply and demand equation through northern New Jersey,” Lizzack said. “With a continued shortage of quality office space adaptable for medical clients, opportunities like 63 Grand Avenue can be few and far between.
“Our market knowledge and experience working in the Bergen County medical office market enabled us to successfully work on behalf of our client to find this space and negotiate a deal that allowed Dr. Landmann to establish a long-term home for his practice.”
