A landscaping company has expanded its footprint with the acquisition of a 0.6-acre lot adjacent to its Rochelle Park headquarters, in a newly announced transaction by NAI James E. Hanson.
The real estate services firm represented both parties in the sale of 121 Rochelle Ave., which Bergen Landscaping acquired from Roy F. McGeady. The buyer now plans to use the lot as a landscape contractors’ yard that will feature retail hardscapes, bringing its total footprint in the township to two acres.
NAI Hanson’s Dominic Fittizzi completed the transaction.
“It’s not every day that a business is presented with an opportunity for expansion without having to relocate their operations, especially in Bergen County,” Fittizzi said. “We were pleased to leverage our expertise to identify this tremendous opportunity right next door to our client and help support the ongoing growth of a local small business.”
In a news release Fittizi touted the site’s location on a main road in central Bergen County. Zoned for a range of uses including office, residential and retail, the property offers easy access to Interstate 80 and routes 17 and 46.
