A landscaping business is relocating to Hackensack after its owner acquired a 2,800-square-foot flex industrial building in the city.
Real estate services firm NAI James E. Hanson said the buyer, T&M Realty Associates, has closed on the building and an adjacent 0.28-acre parcel at 62 Voorhis Lane, The location, which is just a few blocks from Route 4, will allow it to move its Greenland Landscaping business from Wayne.
NAI Hanson Vice President, Anthony Cassano represented both T&M and the seller, Voorhis Associates. Terms were not disclosed.
“The buyer leapt at the opportunity to purchase a larger, more conveniently located property with significantly easier access points to several major highways,” Cassano said in a prepared statement. “Continually decreasing vacancy rates along with sustained strong demand has made finding suitable commercial real estate space in Bergen County difficult and requires an experienced commercial real estate broker to help navigate the competitive landscape.”
T&M’s new property is a freestanding building with 1,600 square feet of warehouse space and 1,200 square feet of office space, NAI Hanson said in a news release. The property features outdoor yard space that is suitable for the storage of trucks and equipment, with a location that offers quick access to routes 4, 17 and 46, the Garden State Parkway and interstates 80 and 95.
