Two tenants have combined to lease more than 4,000 square feet at a Secaucus office building, brokers with NAI James E. Hanson announced Tuesday.
The real estate services firm represented The Carlton Group LLC, the landlord at 700 Plaza Drive, in the newly completed leases with Hudson Pro Orthopedics & Sports Medicine and Nippon Travel Agency America Inc. The tenants leased 2,418 square feet and 1,655 square feet, respectively.
NAI Hanson’s Josh Levering and Nick DePaolera completed the transactions, touting the building’s location within the mixed-use development known as The Plaza at Harmon Meadow. The commercial and residential complex features more than 2 million square feet of corporate offices, a 14-screen movie theater, seven hotels, a health club and a convention center, along with more than 1 million square feet of retail space and restaurants.
“Modern and fully amenitized, 700 Plaza Drive is a fantastic opportunity for sub-3,000-square-foot tenants in the northern New Jersey market for tenants that prize quality facilities, good parking and easy access New York City and the New Jersey Turnpike,” Levering said.
Hudson Pro Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is a top-rated orthopedic and sports medicine practice serving patients across New Jersey and New York, with four existing locations, NAI Hanson said. Its new location will provide patients with another option in the region and allow the operator to bolster its services in Secaucus.
Nippon Travel Agency America is an international travel agency and has been in business for over 50 years, the brokerage team said. As with the medical practice, the lease will provide the firm with a central location to better serve its customers.
“For the small office user, it is virtually impossible to find modern, well-located office spaces in the Meadowlands New Jersey market,” DePaolera said. “Therefore, a tremendous opportunity exists for landlords with buildings that can fill this need. We are happy to address this market niche at 700 Plaza Drive and look forward to continuing our activities with the landlord in assisting small businesses find a home in Secaucus.”
