A technology firm has acquired an office condominium in Hanover as part of a planned expansion in New Jersey, brokers with NAI James E. Hanson announced Tuesday.
The buyer, Safari Solutions, paid an undisclosed sum for the 8,340-square-foot unit at 7 Ridgedale Ave. in the town’s Cedar Knolls section, according to NAI Hanson. Its new location sits within a two-story, 62,000-square-foot building at the intersection of Route 10 and will serve as the company’s second office in the state.
NAI Hanson’s Josh Levering and William Ericksen represented the seller, Redlands Corp., a third-party entity representing the nonprofit tenant and owner of the unit.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many office users throughout the state to re-evaluate their space needs in relation to their current footprints and consolidate their operations where it makes sense to do so,” Levering said. “The transaction at 7 Ridgedale Avenue is yet another manifestation of that trend and we were pleased to help our client quickly secure a buyer for the space so the nonprofit organization they were representing could lower its overhead costs as it sought to continue to give back to the community in these challenging times.”
In a news release, the brokers described Safari Solutions as a strategic technology solutions provider with more than 25 years of experience. The company helps clients grow or sustain their business through advisory services and top-tier tech services for temporary events.
With an existing office in Riverdale, Safari Solutions was looking to expand its operations, NAI Hanson said. The Cedar Knolls location features a modern build-out with existing fixtures, furniture, IT and security from the previous owner.
