The developers of the sprawling Print House project in Hackensack have all but filled its retail space after leasing more than 4,300 square feet to the food hall startup Wonder.
According to NAI James E. Hanson, the leasing agent for Russo Development and The Hampshire Cos., the project’s 45,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space is now 95 percent occupied. Wonder plans to begin taking orders in the early fourth quarter of 2025, the brokerage team said, noting that the store at 150 River St. joins a growing tristate and New York City area footprint spanning nearly 40 storefronts.
NAI Hanson’s Michael G. Walters, Jonathan Kristofich and Cameron Silverstein represented the landlord in the 4,347-square-foot lease, one of several retail deals they’ve brokered at the property.
“Wonder’s commitment to Print House reflects the strength of Russo Development’s and The Hampshire Companies’ vision in Hackensack,” Walters said. “Each new lease brings additional energy to this growing community hub and reinforces its appeal as a destination for both residents and visitors.”
Founded in 2018 by Marc Lore, Wonder’s vertically integrated model brings restaurant-quality menu offerings from many of the nation’s top chefs to doorsteps across the United States, according to a news release. It’s now set to open at Print House alongside fellow commercial tenants such as Hackensack Meridian Health, Starbucks, Jersey Mike’s, Blue Foundry Bank and Lidl, which have signed leases over the past two years.
“From the beginning, our goal with Print House has been to create a vibrant riverfront neighborhood with thoughtfully curated retail, luxury apartment homes and community-focused amenities,” said Adam Pasternack, president of property management at Russo Development. “Reaching 95 percent leased on the retail side is a significant milestone, and we thank the NAI James E. Hanson team for helping bring that vision to life.”
