A private investor has purchased a three-building, 43-unit apartment portfolio in Jersey City for $6.9 million, according to a brokerage team with Capital Realty Associates.
In a news release, the firm said the portfolio includes a combined 24 units at 6, 8 and 10 Bergen Ave., along with a seven-unit building at 484 Central Ave. and another 12 units at 938 Westside Ave. Solomon Halberstam, a sales associate with Capital Realty Associates, brokered the sale to the New York-based private investor.
“The multifamily sector in Jersey City is extremely active with numerous property sales taking place throughout the city,” Halberstam said. “Despite higher interest rates and other economic uncertainties, this market remains very hot, and continues to be a target for investors who are looking to capitalize on incredible rent growth and new development going on all over Jersey City and the New York metro area.”
