The owner of a new luxury apartment building in Jersey City has launched leasing at the 99-unit property.
Golden Glades Capital Management LLC, which recently acquired the building known as BeLa, has tapped Halstead Property NJ Development Marketing LLC as its marketing and leasing agent. As part of that effort, the team is offering 3D walkthroughs that allow prospective tenants to virtually tour its upscale rentals and amenities while safely practicing social distancing.
The building sits at 74 Maple St. in Jersey City’s historic Bergen-Lafayette section, with Liberty State Park located about a block away. Introductory monthly rents start at $1,996 for one-bedrooms and $2,560 for two-bedrooms, the firms said, with occupancy scheduled for June.
Golden Glades is also offering a launch promotion of up to three free months in incentives for tenants who sign leases in May.
“This neighborhood has so much urban character while also offering a greener side of Jersey City,” said Carole Bloom, executive vice president of leasing for Halstead Development Marketing. “Liberty State Park is virtually BeLa’s backyard, offering more than 1,200 acres of public open space and a waterfront walkway, while Berry Lane Park provides an additional 17 acres of active and passive recreational space. We’re excited to now introduce BeLa to its residential offering, which perfectly blends modern and stylish living spaces with the charm, convenience and commuter connectivity the neighborhood is known for.”
The new eight-story building is also blocks from Communipaw Avenue, the area’s business corridor, which offers many locally known bars, eateries and shops. The landlord noted that downtown Jersey City, Hoboken and Manhattan are also easily accessible via the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail’s Liberty Park station, which is just steps from BeLa.
Amenities at the property, which was designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, include a fitness center, yoga studio, grilling stations, outdoor lounge, club room and furnished suites for guests. BeLa also offers on-site parking and bike storage via its first-floor garage and about 2,600 square feet of ground-level retail.
