A new congregation is coming to a 23,000-square-foot facility in Bernards Township after a sale involving two faith-based organizations, brokers with Newmark Associates CRE said.
According to a news release, the Somerset Hills Jewish Center Inc. sold the building at 40 Whitenack Road to New Testament Ministries. The brokerage team noted that the property spans more than five acres in the township’s Basking Ridge section, describing its footprint and the building’s square footage as an ideal setting for a religious facility.
Newmark Associates CRE Vice President Mary Swatek represented the buyer. Nancy Stanton-Tuckman, a vice president with the firm, represented the seller.
“It was a privilege to facilitate this significant transaction and to work closely with both the seller and the purchaser to achieve their respective goals,” Swatek said. “This property holds tremendous potential for New Testament Ministries, and we are excited to see its continued use as a vital community and worship space.”
Stanton-Tuckman added: “We are honored to have represented the Somerset Hills Jewish Center Inc. in this transaction. This sale reflects the strength and expertise of Newmark Associates CRE in navigating complex real estate deals and delivering successful outcomes for our clients.”
