The New Jersey Apartment Association has promoted Alexa Trani to manager of education, with a focus on expanding the organization’s professional development platform.
Trani, previously NJAA’s education coordinator, will plan, execute and grow those offerings while ensuring that members in every role of the multifamily industry have access to relevant and high-quality classes, according to a news release. She will also implement the National Apartment Association’s national designation programs as well as design-specialized programming for members at every level of their career.
“Alexa’s ambition and professionalism truly illustrates how well-positioned she is to take on this role,” said David Brogan, NJAA’s executive director and CEO. “Professional development in our industry has changed extensively since COVID, and we recognized Alexa’s talent for engaging members, understanding the many facets of industry and valuing the important role education plays for NJAA.
“I look forward to seeing Alexa’s accomplishments in this role.”
Trani, a Pennsylvania State University graduate, started with NJAA in 2021 as an intern, the news release said. As the association’s education coordinator, she administered the operations of its educational offerings for a membership that represents more than 240,000 apartments.
