PNC Financial Services has renewed and extended the lease at its 90,000-square-foot New Jersey headquarters in East Brunswick, in a deal announced by Newmark Knight Frank.
The real estate services firm said it represented PNC in the transaction at 2 Tower Center Blvd., a highly visible, 406,000-square-foot building located directly off New Jersey Turnpike Exit 9. The deal extends the bank’s commitment at the property, whose owner recently completed a series of upgrades such as a conference center, health club and full cafeteria.
NKF Vice Chairman and New Jersey Chief Operating Officer David Simson represented the tenant, while CBRE Senior Vice President Jeremy Neuer represented the landlord, LHR Group.
“We are delighted to have assisted PNC with this high-profile transaction, to accommodate the long-term vision and objectives of the organization for the foreseeable future,” Simson said. “The upgraded and modified offices will offer more efficiency, creating the appropriate workplace strategy.”
Located along Route 18, the building features office space across 24 floors and a seven-story parking garage with 1,490 spaces, NKF said. It lies directly adjacent to its sister property, One Tower Center, as well as a Hilton hotel.
