A new PGA Tour Superstore is coming to Morris County as part of a nearly 40,000-square-foot lease announced by Newmark Knight Frank and Katz & Associates.
The firms on Tuesday detailed the transaction between Williams Parkway LLC, the landlord at 98 Route 10 West in East Hanover, and the operator of the golf and tennis destination. Slated to open in early 2020, the 37,364-square-foot store will offer equipment, apparel and accessories, while offering customers free custom club fitting and providing them with access to the same technology and expertise as card-carrying PGA Tour pros.
The Newmark Knight Frank team of Managing Director Dean Tselepis and Director Jerry Putterman represented ownership, while Hugh Scullin, vice president of real estate with Katz & Associates, represented PGA TOUR Superstore. The brokers touted the building’s proximity to other retail, dining and entertainment options along Route 10 and its easy access to interstates 80 and 287.
“The space is an ideal, convenient location for golf and tennis enthusiasts,” Tselepis said. “We are excited that this opportunity aligned to bring an exciting new retail option to an area that many already favor.”
The new East Hanover store, which follows a Paramus location, will be staffed with certified teaching professionals and offer golf lessons and clinics, state-of-the-art swing simulators, practice hitting bays and a large putting green, according to a news release. There will also be an in-house club-making and repair facility.
“It’s been thrilling to work with such a progressive and innovative company as PGA TOUR Superstore,” Scullin said. “We are looking forward to the opening of the second store in this dynamic New Jersey market.”
