A telecommunications equipment firm has leased 35,000 square feet at a Bridgewater office building, one of three new leases announced by brokers with Newmark Knight Frank.
The company, Nistica, signed a long-term commitment at 440 Route 22 East, a 200,000-square-foot complex owned by American Equity Partners, NKF said. The lease amid a multimillion-dollar renovation scheduled for completion this fall, which will modernize and refurbish common spaces and amenities at what’s known as Grande Commons.
NKF Senior Managing Director Jamie Drummond and associate directors Andrew Perrotti and Daniel Reider represented American Equity Partners. Cushman & Wakefield represented Nistica, which describes itself as a global supplier of agile optical modules that simplify, automate and make affordable the delivery of high bandwidth applications.
The leasing agents also announced a long-term extension for 21,500 square feet with Renesas Electronics America Inc., which was represented by JLL. Meantime, Ajante Pharma signed an 8,300-square-foot lease expansion and extension.
“Ownership has been diligent in delivering premier office space that today’s tenants demand,” Drummond said. “Their vision to renovate Grande Commons has attracted new tenants and enticed existing tenants to extend and expand within the building.”
The upgrades by American Equity Partners will include a modern atrium lobby and refurbished common areas such as a new café and fitness center.
