A nonprofit is shifting its warehouse operations after leasing nearly 10,000 square feet of industrial space in Pennsauken, brokers with Vantage Commercial announced.
Located at 7055 Central Highway, the facility provides Bestwork Industries for the Blind Inc. with easy access to routes 70 and 130. Its new 9,967-square-foot home is also part of the Airport Industrial Park.
Vantage Commercial Sale Associate Vince Ceroli and Ken Richardson, an executive director with the firm, worked closely with Bestwork Industries CEO and President Jon Katz and Director of Non-Textile Operations Ed Thomasto to identify the space and secure the lease. They noted that the private nonprofit organization is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people who are blind or visually impaired, providing training and employment opportunities in a supportive work environment.
Those opportunities include textile manufacturing, kitting, warehousing and distribution, packaging and assembling, paper converting and varying knowledge-based services.
“It is always rewarding working with a nonprofit like Bestwork that provides such a valuable service to the community they serve,” Ceroli said. “We are thankful for the opportunity to assist them with their warehouse relocation.”
