A physical therapy practice in Burlington County is expanding with its move to a new 5,000-square-foot location slated to open later this year.
In a news release, Davis Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab said its facility at 338 Stokes Road in Medford will more than double the space available to its team. The location is slated to include 800 square feet of open space and turf for so-called return to play programming and video analysis of sport-specific biomechanics, along with three evaluation rooms and a testing suite for Davis PTSR’s proprietary Analytics for Athletes program.
It will also allow the seven-year-old practice to further its use of technology as it expands its ACL and spine programs as well as concussion recovery, team and small group training, clinical education and sports psychology.
“This has been on the horizon for a while and the timing is right as we have outgrown our current space,” said Dr. Andrea Davis, owner of PTSR. “When finished, it will truly showcase our synergy and team approach — two hallmarks that are key to patients’ treatment success.”
The operator said its new home, less than a mile from its current site, has been vacant for years and is a former apothecary. It’s now retrofitting the facility to house a practice that will treat sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and joint pain.
