Pierson Commercial has promoted a veteran retail broker, touting his role in expanding the company’s footprint and his work with national and regional operators.

Gary Krauss, who joined the brokerage and advisory firm in 2015, is now a director after the newly announced promotion. The Marlboro-based business noted that his focus has been on both tenant and landlord representation, while he has been instrumental in growing the brands of retailers such as Bubbakoos Burritos, C2 Education, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Mamoun’s Falafel, Tropical Smoothie and Café and Wing Stop in markets from central New Jersey to New York State.
For Jersey Mike’s alone, Krauss has completed more than 60 transactions throughout New Jersey and Rockland County, New York.
“In his five years with the firm he has done a tremendous job of cultivating and retaining many solid relationships,” said Jason Pierson, the firm’s president. “Gary has been instrumental in the spread of our company’s reach from Central Jersey into New York State, and has developed a national network as a master broker for Bubbakoo’s Burritos in markets from California to Florida. We look forward to Gary’s continued growth and success with Pierson Commercial.”
Prior to joining Pierson Commercial, Krauss worked for Winick Realty Group in New Jersey. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is licensed in New Jersey and New York.
