The owner of a restaurant and liquor license in downtown South Orange has tapped Pierson Commercial to market the property for sale or lease.
Neil Ruppert, a director with the brokerage firm, is spearheading the assignment at 19 Valley St. on behalf of B&D Holdings. He noted that the building is directly across from the South Orange train station, which serves roughly 4,250 daily riders, and just blocks from Seton Hall University.
It is also adjacent to municipal parking and easily accessible from major highways, including the Garden State Parkway and interstates 78 and 280.
“19 Valley Street represents an exceptional opportunity to bring new life to one of South Orange’s most dynamic locations,” Ruppert said. “The building features two kitchens, three bars and a private outdoor patio — this space offers restauranteurs a unique opportunity bring their (food and beverage) concept one of New Jersey’s prominent downtown markets.”
Pierson added that South Orange’s vibrant downtown offers a mix of local and national retailers and restaurants, with surrounding demographics of some 284,766 residents and 234,155 employees within a three-mile radius.
“As a nearby resident, I know the town would welcome another outstanding restaurant here,” B&D Holdings Principal Danny Harison said. “This space is perfect for creating a vibrant, approachable dining destination in the heart of our community.”
