Pierson Commercial has brokered leases for four new retailers at the mixed-use development known as Downtown Robbinsville, the retail real estate services firm said.
Representing the owner and developer, Sharbell Development, Pierson said it completed the transactions recently for a total of more than 8,500 square feet at the property along Route 33. The new tenants include:
- H&R Block, which leased 1,885 square feet. David Dunkelman of Soloff Realty represented the tenant.
- Everson’s Karate Institute, which recently opened within a 3,000-square-foot space.
- LabCorp, which recently opened a 2,258-square-foot location
- Kumon, which recently opened within a 1,440-square-foot space
“We are extremely proud to have represented Sharbell Development on these transactions, which will bring new retail options to Robbinsville, one of the fastest-growing communities within Mercer County,” said Gregg Medvin, vice president of Pierson Commercial, who managed the four retail leases on behalf of Sharbell. Pierson Commercial is based in Englishtown.
Developed in 2005, Downtown Robbinsville consists of more than 900 residential units and more than 200,000 square feet of office and retail space, according to a news release.
“The development speaks for itself,” Tom Troy, president of Sharbell Development, said in a prepared statement. “We’ve had an influx of retail leasing activity due to the development’s success, as well as the area’s high market incomes and growing residential and daytime populations.”
Troy noted that Amazon’s recently opened 1 million-square-foot distribution center in the township “has added jobs and people to Robbinsville, which already benefits from a strategic location just off (Interstate 195) and the New Jersey Turnpike, and with easy accessibility to Trenton, Philadelphia and all of central New Jersey.”
