A cosmetic surgery practice has joined the fast-growing roster of health care tenants at a 32,000-square-foot office building in Montvale, according to a leasing team with JLL.
The provider, Rubinstein Plastic Surgery Center LLC, is taking 3,400 square feet at 160 Summit Ave. under a long-term commitment with Montvale Real Estate Ventures LLC. The space will serve as the Newburgh, New York-based practice’s second location, also housing a medical spa and aesthetic training site.
JLL Executive Managing Director Frank D. Recine serves as the exclusive leasing agent for 160 Summit Ave., a two-story building, while Parsippany-based GTL Construction is managing renovations at the property.
“We are excited to welcome Dr. Rubinstein to the building and the area,” Recine said. “Ownership’s commitment toward improvements to the building and its concierge service management style, has established 160 Summit Ave. as a prominent location in a region experiencing renewed interest from health care providers. Rubinstein Plastic Surgery Center is exactly the caliber of tenant ownership had in mind when formulating its repositioning strategy.”
JLL noted that the deal follows recent leases by Refuah Health Center Inc., a multispecialty medical group, and Empowered Pelvic Health LLC. Both signed long-term deals at 160 Summit.
Recine, meantime, added that Dr. Ran Rubenstein has been in private and academic practice for more than 20 years, including more than 15 years as an assistant professor at Columbia New York Presbyterian Hospital. His newest location is minutes from the Garden State Parkway and the New York State Thruway, while it’s surrounded by a growing residential population, multiple health care providers, the mixed-use North Market and The Shoppes at DePiero Farm.
Montvale Real Estate Ventures is renovating 160 Summit Ave., with a focus on common areas and restrooms, ADA accessibility, a new front entrance, landscaping and high-visibility signage.
“160 Summit offers the unique opportunity for a 12,000-square-foot medical practice with a private main entrance and branding opportunity,” Recine add.
