Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is adding a new location in the region after committing to space at a Morris County shopping center, under a deal announced by The Goldstein Group.
Brokers say the operator will occupy a pad site under construction at Plaza 23, which is located at 500 Route 23 North in the Pompton Plains section of Pequannock. The Goldstein Group Director Chris Conway represented the chain in its 2,510-square-foot lease, while Rob Murphy from Philips Edison & Co. represented the landlord, Plaza 23 Station LLC.
“The freestanding pad site offers Popeyes outstanding visibility,” The Goldstein Group President Chuck Lanyard said. “Plaza 23 is a strong neighborhood shopping center anchored by a grocery market and Jackson Avenue is a heavily traveled road leading to the local communities.”
In a news release, the brokerage noted that the center is already home to Stop & Shop, T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, Smashburger, Verizon Wireless, Moe’s Southwest Grill and others.
