Prism Capital Partners has leased more than 80 percent of a new 232-unit apartment building in Woodbridge, as it prepares to unveil a series of high-end amenities at the property.
Located in the downtown, at Rahway Avenue and Green Street, the building opened its doors less than six months ago at a redeveloped site next to the Woodbridge train station. That proximity has helped fuel traffic at what’s known as Avenue & Green, which has a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom homes with monthly rents starting from $1,815.
The property also has 10,500 square feet of street-level retail space for which Prism to date has secured commitments from LeGrand Coffee House and The UPS Store.
“We are incredibly proud of Avenue & Green,” said Robert Fourniadis, Prism’s senior vice president for residential. “Sustained leasing velocity reflects the appeal of this one-of-a-kind multifamily product. Residents are moving in every day, and the sense of community here is exciting. Add to that a retail component that is really coming together, and the final vision for this property is quickly becoming reality.”
Amenities at Avenue & Green include a pool and a landscaped courtyard with private grills, outdoor dining, fire pits and a screening area, according to a news release. Indoor features include a resident lounge with billiards and shuffleboard, a modern fitness center, a demonstration kitchen and others.
“Residents are taking full advantage of these gorgeous, inviting indoor amenity spaces,” Fourniadis said. “And with warmer weather just around the corner, we can’t wait to see the grounds come to life as well.”
