REDCOM has hired Carlos Sanchez Jr. as its controller, the Westfield-based engineering, architecture and construction firm announced last week.
In his new role, Sanchez will lead the company’s financial operations, including the development of financial strategy and metrics. He will also monitor control systems and deliver financial reporting, REDCOM said, noting that he brings more than a decade of accounting and controllership experience in the construction industry.
“We are thrilled to welcome Carlos Sanchez to our team as controller,” CEO Ryan Teicher said. “Carlos has broad experience across many facets of accounting and finance and is well-versed in job costing and reporting. He understands our industry from multiple viewpoints and is a proven people leader. We’re glad to have him on board.”
Sanchez, a Nutley resident, holds a bachelor’s in business management and finance from Brooklyn College.
