REDCOM Design & Construction LLC has kicked off a renovation and addition at a Mazda dealership in Somerset County, the Westfield-based firm announced.
In a news release, REDCOM said the project will overhaul the Crystal Mazda showroom and service area at 220 Route 22 in Green Brook. Plans call for an addition of 838 square feet, an interior renovation of some 5,000 square feet and a service area renovation of 900 square feet.
The design-build construction firm marked the start of the project alongside owner Michael Rendine, Crystal Automall Controller Deborah Albanese and Green Brook Town Administrator Kelly Cupit, along with representatives from Mazda and the REDCOM project team.
“REDCOM would like to thank Michael Rendine, Deborah Albanese and everyone at Crystal Mazda for another exciting opportunity to work on a second project for them,” said Petronila Gonzalez, assistant project manager at REDCOM. “We are looking forward to building another project in the Township of Green Brook that also benefits their residents.”
The job is set to employ roughly 20 subcontractors and will be completed by summer 2020, REDCOM said.
