Two new tenants are coming to a Burlington County retail center after leasing a combined 10,500 square feet, in a set of newly announced deals by Levin Management Corp.
In the larger transaction, Top Pot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is taking 7,500 square feet at Hartford Corners, a 215,000-square-foot complex at the corner of Route 130 and Hartford Road in Delran. LMC leasing representatives Kendal Hand-Freda and Fred Younkin represented ownership, while Jerry Johnson of Bennett Williams Commercial represented the tenant.
Hand-Freda and Younkin also brokered the second lease, a 3,000-square-foot commitment by Virtua Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation.
“Top Pot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is a new business venture for its operator, an experienced restauranteur with several other Asian food concepts in the marketplace,” Hand-Freda said. “With a hot pot of simmering broth as each table’s centerpiece, restaurant-goers will dip different types of raw ingredients into the hot pot — cooking, eating and socializing with the group at the table. This tenant is a prime example of the unique and increasingly popular hot-pot shared dining concept. It will be a great draw for local restaurant-goers.”
LMC, which serves as the property’s leasing and managing agent, noted that Hartford Corners draws 2.9 million visits per year, citing real-time traffic data from Placer.ai. The newest leases underscore a period of steady activity at the property, which also recently drew leases with Jersey Mike’s Subs and saw an expansion by anchor tenant ShopRite, a recommitment by Saladworks and a lease with Exit 4 Private Escape Rooms.
The center is already home to Virtua Hand Surgery & Rehabilitation Center, meaning the addition of Virtua Physical Therapy will add to its appeal as a hub for health care services.
“Health care concepts are excellent traffic drivers that contribute significantly to a retail property’s overall ‘destination’ mix,” Hand-Freda said. “Virtua Health System is a leader in the South Jersey market.”
