Ripco Real Estate has expanded its brokerage team in New Jersey with the hiring of a new salesperson, the retail real estate firm announced recently.
Melissa Montemuino joins Ripco from a boutique real estate firm in Hackensack. She is experienced as a landlord representative and has worked on mixed-use central business district properties, freestanding retail and other asset classes.
“We’re pleased to have Melissa as a member of our New Jersey retail team,” said Curtis Nassau, managing partner of Ripco’s New Jersey office. “We believe that her local market knowledge and relationships with independent retailers will provide value to our clients.”
Montemuino, who is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, will be representing both landlords and tenants. With Ripco, whose New Jersey office is in Lyndhurst, her primary focus as she begins will be northern New Jersey.
“I came to Ripco for their resources and the people,” Montemuino said. “They are master marketers and great storytellers. And there is any energy in the office. I’m very happy to join a team whose passion is the same as mine and always cheering (and) boosting each other up — when one team member succeeds, we all succeed.”
