A Secaucus shopping center is on the verge of 100 percent occupancy, as its owner wraps up renovations at the 53,000-square-foot complex.
The broker for the property, Curtis Nassau of Ripco Real Estate, announced Tuesday that three new tenants had signed leases at 101 Plaza Center. They include Habanero Halal Grill, USA Wine Trader’s Club and Dollar Plus.
The complex, which is anchored by CVS, KFC and T-Mobile, has undergone exterior façade and parking lot renovations, Ripco said in a news release. Storefronts now display a more modern, brick design, with some tenants benefiting from more prominent façade heights.
“The renovation is a very valuable asset in telling the story of the shopping plaza,” Daniel Zappala, retail leasing specialist at Ripco, said in a prepared statement. “Not only will the shopping center be aesthetically pleasing, but the tenants benefit from the dedicated surface parking field and convenient access to and from Route 3.”
Zappala and Michael Rawlins, also of Ripco, have worked with ownership over the last year to help oversee the leasing of the center and have consummated the three leases to date.
“With only one small vacancy left in the center and renovations nearing completion, we feel confident in our ability to bring this shopping center to 100 percent occupancy,” Rawlins said.
