Law firm Rivkin Radler LLP has relocated its New Jersey office within the Court Plaza complex in Hackensack.
In a news release Monday, the practice announced the move to Court Plaza North at 25 Main St., Suite 501, part of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ Court Plaza complex in the city. The new location more than doubles the law firm’s conference space and provides for additional offices, along with a larger café and break room.
Its previous office was located at Court Plaza South at 21 Main St. The firm will occupy 12,411 square feet at its new office.
“The move was necessary as we continue to expand our litigation and transactional practices,” said Evan H. Krinick, the firm’s managing partner. “It was fortuitous that the larger space, in the same office complex, became available when we needed it.”
The move will support the firm’s ongoing and anticipated growth in New Jersey, the news release said. The firm in May announced the addition of Khoren Bandazian, a prominent real estate attorney in the state, who joined the Hackensack office as a partner.
“Our Hackensack location has proven to be convenient to our clients in New Jersey as well as those across the New York metropolitan area,” said Gregory D. Miller, a partner in Rivkin Radler’s New Jersey office.
Gregg Najarian and Nate Brzozowski of Savills represented the law firm. Stephen Jennings of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises negotiated on behalf of ownership.
In a separate news release, Sanzari noted that the move represents Rivkin Radler’s second expansion at Court Plaza since it began leasing space there in 2006. The firm initially occupied 6,337 square feet, but has experienced continued growth, while opting to maintain a location that is a short walk from the Bergen County Administrative Complex and other government offices.
“Located just across the street from the Bergen County Courthouse, Court Plaza provides law firms and professional services tenants with a modern and flexible office with its unparalleled access to the Bergen County Administrative Complex,” said Jennings, vice president of leasing and marketing for Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “With over 30 law firms calling Court Plaza home, we pride ourselves on being able to meet their ongoing space needs to accommodate their continued growth within one of Bergen County’s premier office buildings.”
