The Somerset County Business Partnership has recognized Dan Johnson, a top public relations professional in New Jersey commercial real estate, as part of its Top 40 Under 40 class for 2024.
R&J Strategic Communications, where Johnson serves as an account director, announced Wednesday that SCBP honored him earlier this week at its annual awards at The Palace at Somerset Park in Franklin. The accolade comes as part of a career that includes eight years with R&J as well as serving as district council co-chair with Urban Land Institute of Northern New Jersey, one of several key roles he holds with the organization.
“Dan embodies our agency’s mission to make a difference for our clients, community and team, and has been instrumental to the success and growth of our commercial real estate practice since joining our team eight years ago,” said Tiffany Miller, executive vice president of R&J Strategic Communications. “We’re proud of Dan and the work he’s done to make a positive impact for our clients and community and are happy to see his talent recognized in such a meaningful way.”
R&J, a full-service digital marketing and public relations firm, said Johnson is a member of its senior management committee and assists in setting the agency’s strategic direction. In his role as account director, he leads a commercial real estate practice whose clients include some of the sector’s most prominent executives and businesses.
Johnson’s roles with ULI NNJ also include PR and social media cochair for the ULI NNJ District Council Advisory Board, according to a news release. In addition, he is closely involved with ULI NNJ’s Urban Plan program which provides students at East Brunswick High School and East Orange Campus High School the opportunity to learn about the fundamental aspects of real estate development through an engaging curriculum.
