Rotwein+Blake, a Livingston-based architecture and interior design firm, is marking the completion of Newmark’s expanded and renovated New Jersey headquarters.
The practice this week unveiled its design for the upgraded office, which is located at 201 Route 17 North in Rutherford. In a news release, Rotwein+Blake highlighted features such as a perimeter that is exposed to natural light and outside views, along with open ceilings and a rich palette of natural elements that blend texture warmth and reflectivity.
The overall effect of the design enhances the senses and crafts spaces conducive to gathering, working, eating and unwinding, resulting in a balanced, productive and engaging workplace, the firm said. The end result also sought to meet Newmark’s challenge to its team: Create a workplace that would result in a cultural shift to enhance a sense of well-being and cultivate an atmosphere conducive to personal interactions.
