Newmark Associates CRE has expanded its brokerage team with the addition of a Morris County native and recent Rowan University graduate.
Jack Maier, a sales associate, joined the firm earlier this year while completing his bachelor’s degree at Rowan’s Rohrer College of Business, according to a news release. The brokerage said that, as a founding member of the Rowan Real Estate Group, he worked as the director of promotion and campus engagement and created presentations to educate members about entry into the real estate field, while distinguishing the different types of careers in the industry and the various ways to invest in property.
Maier was licensed as a New Jersey real estate salesperson in April 2022 and graduated from Rowan this past May with a major in finance and a minor in economics, the news release said. With Newmark, which is based in the Cedar Knolls section of Hanover, he is focused on providing tenant and landlord representation in northern New Jersey.
The firm added that Maier, a Pequannock native, was a first counselor, risk management chair, and quartermaster in the Sigma Pi fraternity and Zeta Chi chapter at Rowan. He also has experience in the hospitality industry and was the division lead coach for the Headfirst New York Yankees Baseball Camp in northern New Jersey for one term.
