A provider of salon suites has leased nearly 10,000 square feet at an Ocean County shopping center, according to a broker with Vantage Commercial.
The operator, Aire Salon Studios, is slated to open later this year after backfilling a former grocery store space at Boulevard Square in Brick. Its new home at 515 Brick Blvd. places it just off Route 70, with co-tenants such as Bubbakoo’s Burritos, Falafel Brothers, Party Fair, LG’s Pizza & Pasta and others that will help draw traffic to the location.
Vantage Commercial’s Monica Walsh worked closely with the tenant, Nina Lancin, and property owner, Robert Cohen, in the 9,500-square-foot deal.
“This is a great opportunity for the new high-end tenant, as well as local salon professionals who are looking to grow their business and be in control of their own futures,” said Walsh, a director of client services with the Marlton-based brokerage firm. “We are happy to be involved in this transaction that will bring such a great amenity to the community.”
The new Aire Salon Studios will give other beauty professionals access to a rentable salon suite.
“We’ve searched for a long time for a super convenient location in Ocean County and we are thrilled to be opening Aire in Brick Township,” Lancin said. “Monica did a great job securing the perfect location. In addition to easy access, at the top of our wish list was a space big enough for spacious suites and in-house perks, such as an on-site education center and a relaxing lounge for both members and their guests, and Boulevard Square checked off every box.”
