Alfred Sanzari Enterprises has unveiled a new 3,350-square-foot, upscale dining hall at its Glenpointe campus in Teaneck, marking the latest addition to its flagship office property.
Known as Marketplace, an Urban Eatery, the space has capacity for more 100 patrons and is located in The Atrium at Glenpointe at 400 Frank W. Burr Blvd. The operator is set to debut Oct. 21 within the three-building, 670,000-square-foot complex, offering fresh and locally sourced, made-to-order and grab-and-go meals.
“We are thrilled to be rounding out Glenpointe’s campus with the opening of Marketplace, an Urban Eatery,” said Ryan Sanzari, president of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “The refreshing dining option compliments our Class A amenities and elements that Glenpointe already offers tenants. We are confident Marketplace will be a welcome addition to both the complex and the surrounding communities with locally sourced made-to-order and grab ‘n’ go meal options in a convenient location and modern, relaxing environment for patrons to enjoy for years to come.”
Marketplace joins other fine dining and casual offerings in Glenpointe’s interconnected office buildings and the adjacent Marriott hotel, including Pancetta Regional Kitchen & Wine Bar, The Glen Bar and a full-service Starbucks. Marketplace will be open to tenants and community members from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, while tenants will have 24-hour access to the Marketplace, which has a fully automated system that includes kiosks for seamless quick in-store ordering and a website for pickup and catering orders.
In a news release, Sanzari said it partnered with a team of architects and vendors to complete the more than $2 million project, including Flick·Mars, Kimmerle Newman Architects, PBA Engineering, Shine Engineering and Mixed Media Concepts. White Lodging will manage Marketplace, bringing in culinary experts such as Chef AJ Buchanio to curate the seasonal menu offerings.
Meantime, design elements at the space include subway tiles, marble counters, warm wood finishes, steel accents and midcentury modern style seating, the news release said. Food offerings are divided into stations with names such as the Daily Grind for locally sourced coffee and Eat Gluten Free for gluten-free offerings.
In addition to the fresh meals, Marketplace will serve goods from local favorites including Kosher deli Ma’adan, Colombian-owned coffee shop Coffeecol, French-inspired Balthazar Bakery and homemade ice cream shops Sip N Swirl and Conrad’s.
“We envisioned a place that offers a wide variety of local and international options, reflecting the diverse group of companies and their employees that call Glenpointe home,” said Carolina Gutierrez, a leasing and marketing manager with Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “We placed an emphasis on quality ingredients as well as partnering with local vendors to create an unmatched food experience not traditionally seen in office buildings. This is the latest project to bring quality and convenience to a trophy asset like Glenpointe that we know our tenants will love.”
The latest piece of Glenpointe follows several other upgrades at the property, which sits at the junction of interstates 80 and 95 and is also home to 700 hotel rooms across three on-site hotels, along with the 26,000-square-foot Glenpointe Fitness and garage and surface parking for more than 3,000 vehicles. Leasing activity at the campus over the last 12 months has totaled some 100,000 square feet, with tenants including Leica Camera, Axia Women’s Health, Agam Capital Management, Kolmar Korea and Sunovion Pharmaceuticals.
