An animal health company has renewed its nearly 50,000-square-foot lease at Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ flagship Teaneck campus, the site of its global headquarters since 2012.
The publicly traded company, Phibro Animal Health Corp., occupies 49,577 square feet at 300 Frank W. Burr Blvd., according to the landlord and developer of the mixed-use property. Newmark’s David Simson, Jeff Schotz, Peter Rossi, Dan Reider and Peter Kasparian represented ownership in the deal, while Susan Mason and Tom Reilly of JLL represented the tenant.
“For companies looking to do business in the New York City metropolitan area, there is no place like Glenpointe,” Carolina Gutierrez, a manager for leasing and marketing at Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, said in a prepared statement. “Seamlessly blending Class A office space with a robust amenity package and an unparalleled location, Glenpointe stands alone as the place to be for large, growing companies like Phibro Animal Health Corporation. We are honored that they have chosen to maintain their headquarters at Glenpointe and look forward to continuing to build on our relationship over the years to come.”
In a news release, ASE said Phibro is a diversified animal health and mineral nutrition company with thousands of customers in more than 75 countries, with a global staff of 1,700. Originally founded in 1946 as Philipp Brothers Chemicals Inc., the company provides livestock producers, veterinarians and farmers with solutions to help them maintain and enhance the health of their animals and produce healthy, affordable food while using fewer natural resources.
The long-term renewal will keep it in place at Glenpointe, which has 650,000 square feet of office space, three hotels and a host of on-site retailers and amenities. The campus, which sits at the nexus of interstates 80 and 95, benefits from a series of recent capital improvements and technology upgrades aimed at engaging tenants.
“Choosing to continue to call Glenpointe home was the only choice in our eyes when it came time to make a long-term real estate decision for our company’s headquarters,” said Damian Finio, Phibro’s chief financial officer. “Throughout our time at the campus, it has consistently evolved with our growing business’ needs and we are confident it will remain the ideal home for Phibro Animal Health Corporation as we look towards an exciting future.”
