JMF Properties is just weeks away from welcoming its first residents to the second piece of a new luxury apartment complex in Plainfield, the developer announced this week.
Located at 1400 South Ave., the newest phase has added 98 units to the property known as Quin Sleepy Hollow. The developer announced in early June that it had launched leasing at the latest collection of homes, which followed last fall’s successful debut of the 114-unit first phase.
Phase two will be available for resident move-ins in August, JMF said. Renters have access to a mix of floorplans, including value-priced one-bedroom layouts, flexible den options and spacious corner two-bedroom residences.
Apartments are currently available from the $1,800s.
“Welcoming the first residents of phase two will be tremendously gratifying,” said Joseph M. Forgione, the founder and principal of JMF Properties. “Our team has invested an incredible amount of time and effort into the development and design process to ensure that the residential experience and quality of life we offer here is second to none. We look forward to sharing the finished product and are encouraged by the strong response since the launch of leasing.”
In a news release, Forgione cited the recent increase in new renters moving to Quin Sleepy Hollow from urban markets. He said the complex’s blend of urban and suburban living have appealed to residents seeking to maintain their amenity-rich lifestyle in a more comfortable, spacious environment.
“Many of our newest renters are moving from urban areas to be closer to family and friends here in Union County, and they are thrilled when they discover that a rental community of this caliber is available right here in Plainfield,” Forgione said.
The property, which is minutes from the area’s major highways, also sits between two train stations on NJ Transit’s Raritan Valley line. Renters at the complex enjoy more than 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity space, including a resident lounge with billiards, a library, a theater and screening room and a host of fitness options.
