ASO Safety Solutions, a provider of premium quality sensor systems for automated doors, gates and machines, has signed a long-term lease for 16,200 square feet at 350 North Frontage Road in Roxbury, in a deal negotiated by Charity Realty International.
Founded in Salzkotten, Germany in 1984 with their proprietary conductive rubber designs, ASO has grown to become a global leader of industrial safety systems.
“We recognize the many benefits this facility offers our company,” said Simon Rockel, executive vice president of ASO Safety Solutions. “It has the perfect mix of fully air-conditioned high-bay warehouse, office and assembly space. Having both a drive-in and tailboard loading doors, a backup generator and Interstate 80 visibility were added pluses.”
James Costanzo, president of Charity Realty International, represented both the tenant and landlord, Commerce Park Investors.
“With this lease in place our portfolio of industrial properties is at 95 percent occupancy,” said Roy Pascal of Commerce Park Investors. We want to thank ASO for their cooperation, the town of Roxbury for their help, Charity Realty and my son Spencer for convincing us to buy this property and delivering such a quality tenant.”
Part of Charity Realty International’s corporate pledge included a grant for $9,000 divided between The Roxbury Volunteer Fire Department and The New Jersey Ballet, according to a news release. The Fire Department will use the grant to purchase new equipment, specialty training and building repairs, while, in concert with its 50th Anniversary Sponsorship program, the New Jersey Ballet will use the grant to replace 25-year-old costumes for its Nutcracker production.
