An auto dealer and transporter has purchased a 30,000-square-foot warehouse in Old Bridge, brokers with Sheldon Gross Realty said Thursday.
The real estate firm announced that V&S Brothers Inc., a Newark-based business, acquired the property from OEG Building Materials. Located at 395 Route 34, the building was a site for production of steel building materials, which the buyer will use to transition its auction and dealer purchases for shipment overseas.
The Sheldon Gross team of Senior Vice President Glenn Jaffe, Sales Representative Matthew Leonelli Jr. and Executive Vice President Jonathan Glick brokered the sale. Terms were not disclosed.
“We’ve enjoyed a longstanding professional relationship with OEG Building Materials,” Jaffe said. “The Sheldon Gross Realty team also was instrumental in helping OEG relocate from this Route 34 location to its new, 23-acre site just a few miles away. I’d say our history with this type of deal, where we represent long-standing clients on multiple occasions, testifies to the quality of our service.”
The property, which has a Matawan mailing address, is a mile from the Garden State Parkway and less than two miles from Route 9. Sheldon Gross also touted its location 50 minutes from Midtown Manhattan and less than 90 minutes from Philadelphia.
“This is absolutely an ideal site for V&S,” Jaffe said. “I’m confident the location will enable its business to continue expanding.”
