The owner of an office and industrial portfolio in Union and Middlesex counties has tapped Sheldon Gross Realty to manage the properties.
According to the real estate services firm, the assets include a two-story, 25,000-square-foot office structure at 20 Jackson Drive in Cranford. The other location, in South Plainfield, is home to three industrial buildings at 2208 Hamilton Blvd.
Sheldon Gross’ services at the properties include coordination of interior and exterior maintenance and repairs, inspections, managing tenants’ requests, collecting rents and general administration.
“Owning a commercial property comes with a surprising number of responsibilities,” a company executive said. “These are often quite complex and nuanced, which is why contracting with a professional property management service can save so much time and effort. In the case of these Cranford and South Plainfield properties, the owner was able to simply hand all day-to-day responsibilities over to us.”
According to a news release, the Cranford property is a 15-minute drive from Newark Liberty International Airport, while providing tenants with easy access to the township’s downtown and that of neighboring Westfield. The South Plainfield location, meantime, has four tenants and allows users to be minutes from interstates 287 and 78 and the New Jersey Turnpike.
