Sitex Group, an industrial real estate investor, has added to its portfolio in northern New Jersey with the acquisition of warehouses in Englewood and West Caldwell.
In a news release, the firm said it purchased a 32,000-square-foot building at 205 Jackson St. in Englewood and a 21,000-square-foot property at 40 Fairfield Place in West Caldwell. Terms were not disclosed.
The Englewood property is a refrigerated warehouse that is 100 percent leased, the news release said. It sits about four miles from the George Washington Bridge and has 20-foot clear ceiling heights, abundant parking and nine docks.
In West Caldwell, Sitex has added a building with an 18-foot clear ceiling and two docks, with the ability to accommodate one or two tenants. The firm touted its location near Interstate 80 and Route 46.
Resource Realty brokered the deal and has been retained by Sitex to handle leasing Sitex said. MB Productions currently leases 13,200 square feet at 40 Fairfield Place.
“We’re excited to announce the acquisition of these two properties,” said Blake Chroman, a principal with the Englewood-based firm. “They fit perfectly into our growing portfolio of quality buildings in Northern New Jersey.”
